Salomon Golden Leaf Half Marathon
September 24, 2016 - SOLD OUT
Due to the present weather (already precipitating) and the uncertain forecast going forward, in addition to the NOAA Hazardous Weather Outlook for Utah and Western Colorado for today and tonight, the Race Organizers have regrettably decided to cancel the 38th Salomon Golden Leaf Half Marathon.
We are concerned for the safety of our racers, volunteers and staff. This is a difficult decision and we know it is disappointing to our racers, but we believe it is the best decision for the majority of racers. We hope you understand.
We still plan to have Slow Groovin’ BBQ lunch at Koch Park at 11am followed by our raffle at Noon. We hope you will join us.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for the race (as noted on the race waiver participants have signed and the website). Whether we raced or not, the costs for the race have already been incurred by the organizers.
Thank you for your understanding.
